Miley Cyrus is an artist we have supported and adored since 2006. She has come a long way to finding her sound and her most recent songs are a blend of Alt-Rock and Pop – which are two genres we love. In this article, we share 4 artists that have a similar sound or style to Miley Cyrus. As well, these artists are also all female. Kate Yahn is an independent singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Canada. She released her first single “Blue Bayou” in September 2021. A month later in October 2021, she released the single “Maneater” – which is her second most popular song of over 19K streams. On February 18, 2022, she released the single “Bad Romance”. This song is her most popular song of over 37.5K streams.
Followed by the release of “Bad Romance”, she released the single “Just Good Enough” in November 2022. So far for 2023, Kate has released one song on March 3rd titled “Edge of Nothing (Take Me Home)”. This is the song our favourite from her discography so far and we can’t wait to hear what else she releases in the future.

Hailey Haus is a pop-rock singer from Dallas, United States. She debuted in March 2020 with the release of her single “Anxiety”. Followed by that song, she released “Flavor of the Month” on June 14th, 2022. Around May 2022, she started promopting this song on TikTok which made her first video of this song gain over 6.9 million views. This song is also her most popular song of over 1.4 million streams.
Hailey’s most recent single is from November 2022 and it was her version of the Christmas song “Mary, Did You know?”. Hopefully in 2023 we will get a new release soon!

Mylie Taylor is a singer from Toronto, Canada who debuted in October 2021 with the single “Poker With The Devil”. She also has another single out titled “Sirens” which was released in January 2022. Prior to releasing her solo music, Mylie earned 1 million views on a YouTube video of her covering Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know” with Myles Erlick. She is also the daughter of the late Mike Taylor, who is famous for his work in the Canadian band Walk Off the Earth.
Next Friday (April 28), Mylie will be releasing her third single and first one of 2023 titled “OOPSIE DAISIES”, so make sure to pre-save here and listen when it’s out!

AVIV is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Toronto, Canada. She is currently signed to Photo Finish Records in the US and Dine Alone Records in Canada. She released her first single “Cookie Dough” in June 2020, followed by the releases of “Girls In Red”, “Frontlawn” and “I Guess I Miss You”. She released quite a few singles in 2021 and her single “Failed English” from November 2021 is how we discovered her.
Additionally, she released her first album Drowning in the Culture on April 15th, 2022 which “You Feel Like Depression” is our favourite on the album. Her latest release from August 2022 is “Strawberry Sunscreen (Rework)” which is a collaboration song with Lostboycrow. Hopefully in 2023 we get some more music from AVIV.
