Welcome back to our fourth post in our “Behind The Beat Spotlight” series. This month we are featuring Manitoba, Canada based singer, songwriter and producer Jessie Cabrera.

Jessie started recording and writing music during the COVID-19 pandemic as an artist and as a songwriter for other artists. He released his first single “By Your Side” on October 8th, 2020 which was in collaboration with Jerilyn B and MarcusOnTheTrack. On November 6th, 2020, he released his first solo song “Be Mine”. Since then, Jessie Cabrera has released a few more songs and his latest release “Boujee Girl” from August 2023 is now his most popular song with almost 30K streams on Spotify alone.

We decided to feature Jessie Cabrera this month because we have watched him grow since early 2023 and he has had so many amazing opportunities. He recently debuted in the Indie-Rock/Pop band SAJE which consists of Jessie and Kasper (lead singer). When asked about SAJE, Jessie said, “I’m so excited for people to hear more of SAJE. I feel like so many ppl can resonate with the heartfelt lyrics. Kasper does such a great job of encapsulating the picture.”
