Welcome back to our “Behind The Beat Spotlight” series. So far, we’ve showcased producers, singers, and songwriters, but this month marks our first feature on a concert photographer/videographer. We’re excited to introduce Toronto-based photographer Angelo Corpuz.

Angelo is a rapidly rising star in concert photography. He began his journey in November 2023, capturing his first show during eaJ’s “IN INSOMNIA” North American Tour in Toronto. Following this, Angelo teamed up with MODOLIVE to photograph mico in December 2023.

Kicking off 2024 with a bang, Angelo photographed Miso, Rad Museum and TABBER during their Toronto stop on the “you.will.knovv 2024 North America Tour” in January. He then went on to photograph Car, the garden’s Toronto show in February during the “Car, the garden 2024 North America Tour: Harmony”.

More recently, in June, Angelo covered PRYVT’s Toronto show for their first “THE&SCENE” Tour, where he also photographed Toronto artists shae and WIMY, who opened the event.

Beyond photography, Angelo is also super skilled in videography. He creates captivating cinematic shorts and short films, short content for his Instagram, including concert reels, and he recently filmed and edited a recap video for our first showcase, which you can watch here:
