Hyper-Pop/Anti-Pop music is a genre that we love as it mixes many different genres and sounds. In this article, we share 6 artists that fall under the hyper-pop/anti-pop genre and have below 100K monthly listeners on Spotify. We hope you enjoy and get into some of the artists featured!

Tsuyunoshi is a singer and songwriter from Las Piñas, Philippines. In 2017, when they were 13 years old, they started making music under different aliases. It wasn’t until 2019 when Tsuyunoshi began to take music seriously and in 2020, they began vocal lessons.
Tsuyunoshi released their debut single “checks” on January 14th. This song was in collaboration with coldspades. A few singles were released throughout 2020 and on April 10th, 2021, they released their debut EP safehouse. In August 2021, Tsuyunoshi came out with a single titled “sidetracked”, produced by their friend Joshwa. This is currently their most popular song with over 500K streams and was the pre-release track for their first album 2004, which was released on January 23rd, 2022.
Their latest release from June 10th of this year is a double single EP titled backwards which includes the song “backwards” and a demo of a song titled “springfield”.

Mifye is a singer, songwriter and producer from Champaign-Urbana in Illinois, Chicago. Growing up, Mifye tried his best to learn songs he liked on the piano and guitar by ear. It wasn’t until his freshman year of college where he began to write his own music. He started producing music for himself and now is part of the executive board for HIDEOUT – which is a Hip-Hop Collective in Champaign-Urbana.
He made his debut on May 30th, 2022 with his single “care too much”. Currently, this is his most popular song with a little over 2.3K streams. Followed by his debut, he released the singles “blur” on July 22nd, 2022 and “faith” on December 28th, 2022. “faith” is his second most popular song with 1.1K streams on Spotify.
Mifye’s first release of 2023 was on February 26th with the single “guest st★r”. His latest release is from June 5th, 2023 and it’s titled “MOVEMENT 1 – in loving memory”. This song is in collaboration with bloominous and is the pre-release track for his upcoming triple single EP END CREDITS. END CREDITS is set to release on June 19th.

Bhertuy is a singer, songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, United States. He started making music around 2019. He debuted to digital stremaing platforms on February 1st, 2021 with the release of his single “seasons”. “seasons” is his most popular song with over 870K streams on Spotify.
On March 28th, 2021, he released his debut EP Diary 664 which consists of 4 songs. On January 23rd, 2022, he released his second EP titled 3 stages of agony followed by the release of “endlessly feeling my type of insecurity” in March. This is the song that got us into Bhertuy’s music.
Bhertuy’s second most popular song is “haven” which was released on July 15th, 2022. He also released his third EP hyperreality on October 28th, 2022. For 2023, he released the single “look under your skin” in February, followed by “bystander” in March. His latest release “square one” is from May 12th.

jayya is a singer and songwriter from Toronto, Canada. He started making music in 2017 as a producer and began to do vocals in 2020. Currently, he hasn’t produced any of the songs that he released, but he does plan on being more involved on the production side in the near future.
He made his debut to digital streaming platforms on December 24th, 2021 with the single “hypocrite” – which is a collaboration with spoder. On February 25th, 2022, he released his second single titled “addict”. This is his most popular song with over 440K streams on Spotify. His second most popular song with about 430K streams is “villian” which was released on August 19th, 2022.
His first single for 2023 came out on January 6th and is titled “deserved”. His latest release is “lately” which was released on April 21st, 2023.

Jades is a singer and songwriter based in Chicago, United States. He started making music in 2017 and made his debut to digital streaming platforms on July 16th, 2023 with the single “talknomore”.
On October 1st, 2020, he released the single “Meantime”. This is his most popular song with over 1.2 million streams on Spotify. Followed by that release, he released the single “Wasting Time” – which is his second most popular song with a little over 880K streams.
He continued to release singles throughout the rest of 2020 and throughout 2021. In July 2022, he released the single “switching sides” – which is the song that got us into Jades music. His latest release is from May 26th of this year and it’s titled “tell me your regrets”.

For 2023, he released “back to you” on January 21st, followed by “sentimental” on March 22nd – which was a collaboration with Maxrrss. His latest release is from May 31st and is titled “jealousy”.
