We are back with a part 3 of the “if you like keshi, listen to these artists” series. Today, we are sharing 6 talented artists that make R&B music that has that chill, romantic/sweet vibe to it, similar to keshi.

kasper is an artist from Australia who blends Korean R&B with dark R&B. He made his debut to digital streaming platforms on October 29th, 2021 with the release of his single “on my mind”.

In August 2022, he did a collaboration with FELIPE4U for the song “LIKE A FOOL” – which is the first song we heard of kaspers. Followed by the release of “LIKE A FOOL”, kasper released “DANGEROUS” on October 17th, 2022. This song is kasper’s most popular song with almost 1 million streams on Spotify. kasper’s second most popular song on Spotify is “honeymoon avenue”. This song has a little over 330K streams and was released in December 2022.

For 2023, kasper released his first single of the year “gone” on January 23rd followed by “OUT OF SIGHT” on March 9th and “CONTROL” on April 21st. His latest release from May 5th is the single “I’VE SEEN THIS MOVIE BEFORE Pt.2” which is a collaboration with hyejin and Aleebi.

kimmy on the cover of IF YOU LIKE KESHI PT. 3

kimmy is an artist based in Los Angeles, United States. He started making music around 2019 when his best friend believed that he would put out good music even when he didn’t believe it. He released his first single “right back” to digital streaming platforms on March 31st, 2022 followed by “butterflies” in May 2022. “butterflies” is my favourite song of kimmy’s so far.

On November 11th, 2022, kimmy did a collaboration with stvphn for the song “forever” – which is his most popular song of 24K streams on Spotify. kimmy’s last release of 2022 was on November 14th with his single “bad news”.

kimmy’s latest release “complaints” is from January 25th of this year. Hopefully, we can expect to hear more music from kimmy in the near future.

Patty on the cover of IF YOU LIKE KESHI PT. 3

Patty is a Korean-American singer and rapper based out of California, United States. He is also a co-founder of the collective OS Vision which he made with his friends Jjino and SmoovLee. Patty made his debut to digital streaming platforms on January 2nd, 2021 with the single “Wayside” which was a collaboration with SmoovLee. Patty released a lot of singles throughout 2021.

On March 5th, 2022, he released the single “Lotus” – which is his most popular song of a little over 32K streams on Spotify. This is also the song I discovered him by. On September 25th, 2022, he and Jjino released a double single album with the singles “CO-OP” and “GET IT”. Patty ended the 2022 year off with the release of “Painted Blue” in November. This is my absolute favourite song of his so far and has 17K streams.

For 2023, Patty released “this moment” on January 4th and his latest release “COLORBOUND” just came out on May 13th.

Gun Boi Baz is an independent South Korean singer raised in Connecticut, United States. He started writing, recording, mixing and mastering his own songs around 5 years ago. He made his debut to digital streaming platforms on February 4th, 2018 with a triple-single album titled City. This triple single album includes the single “Numb” – which is one of his most popular songs with over 1 million streams.

On December 6th, 2019, Gun Boi Kaz released his debut album Love Me Not. This album consists of 9 songs and includes one of his hit song “Numb III” which has over 8 million Spotify streams. This song is a collaboration with XINCLAIR. Throughout 2020, Gun Boi Kaz released a lot of singles.

In May 2021, he collaborated with Cameron Sanderson for the single “Hurting Myself is so Fun” – which is his most popular song with over 2 million streams. In 2022, he released a lot of singles and my favourite single is called “something different” which came out on September 16th.

For 2023, Gun Boi Kaz released the single “21” on January 26th, followed by “can’t resist” on February 24th, which was another collaboration with XINCLAIR. His latest release is from April 14th with the single “ruin my life”.

starfall on the cover of IF YOU LIKE KESHI PT. 3

starfall is a singer and songwriter who made his debut on February 20th, 2021 with the single “the truth” – which was a collaboration with Kaido and christian blair. starfall continued to release singles throughout 2021 like; “speechless” with Kyra and “never lasts”.

On March 20th, 2022, he released the single “tied up” – which is currently his most popular song with over 1.6 million streams. His latest solo single is from October 2022 and it is a song called “drop dead”. Additionally, he released a collaboration song titled “hypocrite” with Joon on February 8th of this year.

There isn’t much information online about starfall, but hopefully in 2023 we get to learn more about him and get to hear more music as well.

Calub is a singer and songwriter based in California, United States. He made his debut on April 9th, 2020 with the single “Halfway in Love” which was produced by Patrick Hizon. This song is his most popular song with over 2.1 million Spotify streams. His second most popular song with 500K streams is “college hoodie” which was released on August 7th, 2020.

Calub’s last release “hello” is from June 2021. This is my favourite song and how I discovered him. Although he hasn’t released any new music in a while, hopefully we can expect more music in the future.
