“IN A DREAM” WITH NCT DREAM IN CHICAGO

On April 7th, SM Entertainment’s South Korean K-pop boy group NCT Dream performed at the Allstate Arena in Chicago for their “In A DREAM” tour. This was the 13th stop on their tour.
NCT Dream is a K-Pop group I have wanted to see for so long hence why I went to Chicago since they didn’t have a Toronto stop on this tour.
Being in the Allstate Arena was so lovely because the seats were a lot closer than I expected and I had such an amazing view of the whole stage and stadium. I sat in section 216, Row J for reference.
The concert started at 8 PM with an opening VCR of NCT Dream. The setlist was 29 songs and included their most popular songs such as; Hot Sauce, Beatbox, Candy, Hello Future and more. My favourite performance was “My Youth” as that is my favourite song of theirs of all time. However, I loved every single performance.
NCT Dream are such incredible performers and their energy was insane for the full 2.5 hour set. Additionally, I noticed that fans in America are way more energetic and passionate so, that was really fun to see the energy of the fans there which definitely helped increase my energy too.
Mark’s second solo song “Golden Hour” released the same day as this concert, so he ended up promoting it on stage which was so fun and it was so cute to see a bunch of posters on screen promoting the song.
Overall, the concert was amazing and definitely one of the best ones I have been to so far. I highly recommend seeing NCT Dream if you get the chance to.
