Welcome back to our “Behind The Beat Spotlight” series. This month we are featuring Australian born South African R&B artist Shanae.

Shanae made her debut on December 7th, 2023 with two singles; “am i dumb?” which is her most popular song with around 97.5K streams on Spotify and “am i done?”. Her next single “outside” was released on February 8th, 2024, followed by “leave it” on March 21st. Both of these singles were pre-release tracks for her debut album reset which came out on April 18th, 2024. This is also her most recent release.

We decided to feature Shanae this month as we came across her through our Instagram suggestions and really liked her music. Since her debut, she has gained over 24.7K listeners on Spotify and we think this number will definitely grow the more she releases music. Her voice is incredible and we overall really like her vibe.
