On February 26th, 2024 South-Korean-Canadian singer and songwriter kuiper released a music video for his first single of 2024 titled “lullaby”. Prior to the music video, “lullaby” came out on Friday, February 16th.

When asked about the meaning of “lullaby”, kuiper says, “it’s a story about being prideful in love in multiple relationships which prompts the feeling of imposter syndrome which can only be resolved when by yourself or with your closest friends”.

Sonically, “lullaby” is a sweet, R&B style song. The guitar melody is played by fellow BAD KIDS artist DAYZ3RO.

With the release of “lullaby”, kuiper wanted to showcase this song and story through a music video. kuiper says, “I want to show people the dichotomy of being with someone and feeling uncomfortable and unresponsive and the warmth of being alone.”

The music video is so beautiful and kuiper and his team did such an amazing job with portraying this song visually. As well, I am featured in the music video.
