At midnight EST, MND3GMA debuted with their single “Tayong Dalawa”. MND3GMA [man-di-rig-ma] is an independent Electronic-Pop duo based in Toronto, Canada consisting of members; Jordan Alexander (actor in Gossip Girl and musician) and Sakina Garcia (model for Sutherland Models, DJ and musician).

“Tayong Dalawa” is a tropical electronic song in Tagalog (language of the Philippines). “Tayong Dalawa” translates to “two of us” and this song is telling a story of two extraterrestrial space creatures that despite the differences they have, they make their way back to each other to form that love and connection that they long for.

The song is filed with a tropical drum beat, catchy melodies and hooks and harmonies. It was produced by Taabu, who is a Polaris Music Prize and Juno Award winning record producer based in Brampton, Canada.

As MND3GMA state, “regardless of if you understand Tagalog, great music is universal”.

The single also has a beautiful and cinematic music video where Jordan Alexander and Sakina Garcia are in two different worlds, but come together towards the end of the music video. This goes with the whole theme of “two of us”. This music video was filmed in Manila, Philippines and was directed by Elena Virata who is a rising star in the Filipino film industry.
