How is it already the end of February? This month was full of so many amazing releases that I struggled to narrow it down. There are so many more songs I wanted to include in this blog, but I narrowed it down to my top 14 most played songs throughout the month.

“stitches” is the first track on Jae Luna’s EP Good Sense – which was amazing. This song is so catchy and it has a early 2000s rock vibe to it which I love because that’s the kind of music I grew up listening to. I really enjoy Jae Luna’s style and music and can’t wait to hear what else he will release this year.

eldon is an artist I discovered this month because of this song as it was featured in Spotify’s playlist New Music K-Pop. I really loved the vibes of this song “Fraud” and I think eldon is super underrated and deserves more listeners. Definitely became a fan and look forward to hearing more music from him.

CHAU is an artist that debuted last year and after one year, he finally released his second single “i still fucking love you”. I seriously couldn’t get this song out of my head and I found myself constantly singing it. It’s so catchy and I love the lyrics for it.

“don’t think you’ve done enough now?” is hevel’s first song of 2024 and I am obsessed with the vibes of it. I love hevel’s music and I’ve been listening to them for a while, but this song truly hit and it actually made it into my top 10 songs on Receiptify for the month.

SIZE is an artist that debuted this month with this single “Paradox Lover”. I discovered SIZE through my friend Joshua who runs the keshiupdates account. SIZE is so talented and this song was another catchy song that was constantly stuck in my head throughout the days. I also really love the cover art and lyrics. Super excited to hear what other songs SIZE will release this year.

C.Y. Ing is an artist that I absolutely love. His musical style is very much the kind of music I love (R&B mixed with elements of other genres). “FINALE” is definitely one of my new favourite song of his. I love the production, the lyrics and even the music video for it.

Justin Charles is an artist we started listening to after the release of this EP DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS. We absolutely love his music and his style and we even featured him in our Behind The Beat Spotlight for the month of February. The whole EP was amazing, but we loved “you” the most.

This month, I finally fell down the Noah Kahan music hole and I fear I am not getting out of it soon. I have been listening to a few Noah Kahan songs since end of last year, but this album Stick Season (Forever) is what got me loving his music. Although the album has 30 songs, it’s definitely a no-skip album for me. I have so many favourite songs from this album so it was very hard to choose one. However, “Strawberry Wine” is a song I found myself wanting to listen to the most because I love the song title and the overall lyrics and vibe of the song. Highly recommend listening to Noah Kahan if you haven’t already.

TEN’s album TEN – The 1st Mini Album is one that I was so excited for and it did not disappoint. I love his R&B style that he has as a soloist and all of his songs are incredible. It was hard to choose a favourite, but “Dangerous” is one that I found myself listening to the most. From the production to the lyrics to his vocals, this song is just so catchy and beautiful.

PRYVT truly saved Valentine’s Day by releasing this song. From the teasers on TikTok, I was getting so excited for this song to release because I knew it would be the perfect song to put me in my feels. PRYVT is one of my favourite artists because I love their indie style songs and the lyrics always hit. This song is definitely one of their best songs so far and I am so excited to hear more music from them. Also the cover art is so cute.

Y’all should know by now that I am a huge fan of kuiper and this song might be one of my new favourite songs of his. I absolutely love it because it’s so catchy and it’s in the R&B genre which I love. The music video (which I’m in) is also super beautiful and fun. It truly was a great month because we got DAYZ3RO’s second single and it’s so good. I just love his vibes and from his debut, his music has always hit whenever I hear snippets of it on TikTok. It’s no surprise that I am a fan of DAYZ3RO because he’s part of BAD KIDS and I literally love every artist in the collective so. Looking forward to hearing other songs that DAYZ3RO will release throughout the year.

I love LE SSERAFIM and I was patiently waiting for this comeback and it did not disappoint. “EASY” is one of my most played songs from the album, but I truly did enjoy every song except the intro. This song is so catchy because of the beat which people have described as Afro beats.

“KISS&TELL” is a song I’ve also waited so long for. I am a huge fan of both Ethan Low and Gen Neo so, this collaboration is literally perfect to me. I also had the opportunity to see this song live and it was amazing. Definitely one of my new favourite songs by Ethan!!
