On October 11th at 6pm EST, the dynamic Korean pop boy group POW released their debut EP Favorite. POW is a 5 member group under GRID Entertainment consisting of Korean members JUNGBIN, HYUNBIN, HONG, Filipino-Korean member DONGYEON and Thailand member YORCH.

The group released their pre-debut single “Favorite” on September 13th which has over 600K streams on Spotify. Now, they have released their 1st EP Favorite which consists of 4 songs; “Favorite”, “Dazzling”, “Slow Dancing” and “Amazing”. In just two weeks, the EP has garnered a littler over 900K streams on Spotify alone.

All 5 members have distinct and unique vocals, making this EP very captivating. “Favorite” is a pop-punk track that represents the groups energy and charisma. With the catchy melody, it gives the song a youthful and innocent feel.

“Dazzling” is a softer, ballad-like song filled wiht youthful and sweet melodies. It’s our personal favourite song on the EP. “Slow Dancing” is a fun R&B-Pop infused track and the members vocals are very warm. Lastly, “Amazing” is similar to “Favorite” as it is in the pop-punk genre. It’s more upbeat and has a very youthful feel to it as well.

Seeing how diverse the songs are on this EP, it’s obvious that POW are going to be a successful and huge group in the near future. Please support them on their journey.
