Welcome back to our “Behind The Beat Spotlight” series. This month we are featuring Hong Kong based independent singer and songwriter Risy.

Christy Pang, known by her artist name Risy creates music in the indie pop and R&B genre. She made her debut on October 23rd, 2021 with the single “Colours”. Following her debut, she released “Baby If I Were An Android” in July and “Just For Two” in October with Alyssa.. Risy released her debut EP Lover From The Internet on September 8th, 2023. Her latest single is “Things Unsaid” which released on August 30th. Since her debut, she has garnered over 100K streams and was featured on the Spotify editorial playlist “Mood”.

We decided to feature Risy this month as her new single “Things Unsaid” has been on repeat for us. We have been following Risy’s journey since early 2023 and it’s been amazing to see her growth. She is so talented and has gained over 14.5K monthly listeners since her debut.
