At midnight, Vietnamese singer-songwriter tanny ng released his third album affection’s blind. In this 15-track journey, tanny unveils his personal perspective on affection.

On June 9th, “two of us” with kinu and wilngu came out as a pre-release track for this album. Followed by that single, tanny released “SHAME” with kinu in July and “my, my, my” with juhye on August 18th. All three of these singles did so well that the anticipation for affection’s blind was high.

affection’s blind is an album that allows the listeners to experience the highs and lows of love through a mesmerizing journey of tanny’s deeper emotions. When asked about the album, tanny says, “each track unveils the intricacies of my innermost feelings, showcasing my identity as an artist who values emotional authenticity. affection’s blind is not just another album about young love; it’s an intimate exploration of love’s multifaceted nature, profound self-discovery, and a rollercoaster of inner emotions.”

The album has 15 tracks with all different feelings and unique tones. The genres range from soft and soulful piano ballads, orchestral pop, upbeat indie pop, mellow R&B, a mix of afrobeat and house, and more.

Furthermore, tanny says, “affection’s blind is a bonafide proof that I am not afraid to express myself musically, crossing boundaries in order to deliver the fresh breeze into the land of “bedroom artists”, which are commonly known for only producing softer, and more mellow songs.”

affection’s blind is tanny’s most ambitious project yet. The credits include both long-time and new collaborators, such as: kinu (featured on tanny’s most successful singles to-date, ‘two of us’ and ‘SHAME’), wilngu, TubbyTMU, Di Sol, juhye, and producers: KADO, isaac owens, wavytrbl, nothenri, yaego and charlie kurata and more. “Each and every featured artist and producer are my partners on this journey, deciphering what is inside my maze of a mind.” tanny says.
