Texas is known for its amazing music scene which is why we wanted to highlight 4 artists from there. These 4 artists have below 100K monthly listeners on Spotify, but their music is amazing and they have so much potential to grow.

Nevi is an 18 year old Mexican American artist from Royse City, Texas. He is also a producer and engineer. He made his debut on July 24th, 2018 with his debut EP Sad Sad Summer.. In May 2020, he posted the single “Invoice” to digital streaming platforms. This single garnered over 4.3 million streams on SoundCloud and charted #1 on the SoundCloud Charts. On Spotify, this single almost has 1 million streams.
On May 21st, 2021, he released the single “How You Been” which was a collaboration with KYLE. This is one of his most popular songs with over 1.2 million streams. Followed by that, he released the single “Comfortable” with Luh Kel and Alehn. Both these songs were pre-release tracks for his first album onourown.. After his album, he released quite a few singles throughout 2021 and 2022.
He started off 2023 with the release of “Control” on February 17th, followed by “Westside” on May 19th. “Westside” is our favourite song from his discography and was also a pre-release track for his latest EP genesis. This EP is his latest release and came out on June 9th.

stvphn is an Indie R&B/Pop singer,songwriter and producer born and raised in Houston, Texas. Originally he stricly only produced music, but as of the last 2 years he has been singing, songwriting and producing his songs as well as producing for many other artists. He debuted on March 31st, 2022 with the single “lie”. In November 2022, he released the single “forever” which was a collaboration with kimmy. This is his most popular single with almost 34K streams.
For 2023, he released his first single “running” on February 24th. This single was in collaboration with brynne. His next release was the single “just a friend” in April. This song was in collaboration with chtha and ahyng and is also his second most popular song with 11K streams. His latest release “obvious” is from July 28th and is another collaboration with kimmy.
