We are back with a 5th part to our “Up & Coming Asian Artists | 100K AND BELOW” series! This series will go on forever because there are so many talented Asian artists that are so talented and deserve more listeners. In this article, we will be sharing 6 artists who vary in genres and musical styles. We love every single artist mentioned in this blog and we cannot wait to see their growth in terms of monthly listeners this year!

Juju B. Goode is a South Korean-born singer, songwriter and producer who is currently based in Los Angeles. He draws inspiration from the genres; Rock, Disco, Electronic and Hip-Hop, while also embracing his Korean roots. He made his debut on November 20th, 2020 with the release of his debut EP Future Boy. This EP includes one of his hit songs “Time Machine” which has a little over 1 million streams on Spotify.
His next release was his second EP Garden which came out on December 17th, 2021. This EP features the single “Alright!” with HOHYUN which is his most popular song with over 2.1 million streams on Spotify alone. As well, this EP includes the song “012” with hevel. This song is my favourite song and is actually the song that introduced me to Juju B. Goode and hevel back in 2021 when this released.
On May 13th, 2022, Juju B. Goode collaborated with Sarah Kang for the single “goodnight” which garnered over 1.6 million streams on Spotify. In April 2023, he released “Moon Sailing” which was a collaboration with JAIE. Followed by that single, he collaborated with dv/sn for the single “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” which was a song created for the Netflix series XO, Kitty.
His latest release is from November 2023 and it’s for his debut album Smile! You’re On Camera which includes the song “Ending Fairy” which is our favourite. So far for 2024, Juju B. Goode has not released any music, but he recently performed at The Hotel Cafe for Townewest’s headline show “Late Night in Towne”. We are so excited to hear what Juju B. Goode has in store for the future. As well, we hope we can see him perform one day because we have been a fan of him for 3.5 years now.

Aisa is an Alternative-R&B singer and songwriter from Las Vegas. He released his first single “wasted” on December 11th, 2020 followed by “polaroid” on December 25th. On March 1st, 2021, he released his third single “redeye”. All three of these singles were pre-release tracks for his debut album Crazy-ish which came out on March 26th, 2021.
On May 13th, 2022, Aisa collaborated with Saara for the single “time 4 u”. I July 2022, he released a triple-single EP titled my mind which includes the song “all day” which is his most popular single with over 280K streams. He ended 2022 off in November with the release of “Neutral Tones”.
On June 16th, 2023, he released two singles; “it’s cause of you” and “it’s cause of you pt.2”. Followed by those singles, he ended 2023 in November with the single “Company”.
So far for 2024, Aisa released “Bad Daze” on February 16th, 2024 which is one of our personal favourites from his discography.

UHMOCEAN is a Hmong, Laos and Vietnamese singer and songwriter from Sacramento, California. His music is so unique and it’s a beautiful blend of Pop, R&B and Dance. He made his debut on February 3rd, 2023 with the single “YOURFRIEND” followed by “ALL I KNOW” on February 24th. On May 12th, 2023, UHMOCEAN collaborated with picassio for the single “You’re The One”.
On July 28th, 2023, UHMOCEAN released his debut EP Reason To Be: Excalibur which includes the song “For Me” which is the song that got us into his music. His last release of 2023 was on December 20th with the single “wantuaround”.
UHMOCEAN started 2024 off with the release of “Over U” on January 31st which was in collaboration with stvphn. His latest release “enymnymo” is from February 14th.

Bianca Espino is a Filipino singer and songwriter from Canada I believe. She debuted on November 1st, 2023 with the single “a love lullaby”. This is the song we discovered her by prior to her debut because she was teasing this song on her TikTok. On December 1st, 2023, she collaborated with Ian Marc for the single “Christmas Without You”.
Her latest single “someday” came out on February 9th, 2024. We love this song so much and it makes us so excited to hear what Bianca will release in the near future.

JohnnyDarling is an R&B/Electronic producer, singer and songwriter duo based in Los Angeles, California. The duo consists of; Cedric Ivory and Ian Rivera. They debuted on July 23rd, 2019 with the single “Waves” followed by “Lady” in November.
On February 27th, 2020, they released their debut album K!ng. This album includes their most popular single “You” which has over 955K streams on Spotify. They also released; “Anybody But You” in July and “BENEFITS” in December. They released a few more singles throughout 2021 and 2022.
In January 2023, they released the single “Forever” followed by “Self Love” in July. As for 2024, they released two singles; “Need You” and “Simple Times” on January 31st, 2024.

Charisse Chua is a pop singer, songwriter and pianist from San Diego, United States. Charisse blew up on TikTok in 2023 after recreating a video from 2015 where she made an at home music video to “Dear Future Husband” by Meghan Trainor. This lead to Charisse going on to Kelly Clarkson’s talk show and meeting Meghan Trainor. Charisse also has been on TEDx Talk.
She debuted on March 10th, 2023 with the single “Closer to Closure” which was a collaboration with George Luo. On May 5th, she released “Fridays” which is her most popular song on Spotify with 15K streams. Her third single “Sidelines” came out on October 6th, 2023.
So far for 2024, Charisse released the single “would you take it all back?” on January 26th – which is how we discovered her on TikTok. She has a new song titled “Paranoia” coming out on April 19th so, make sure to pre-save it.
