We are back with another part in our UP & COMING ASIAN ARTISTS | 100K AND BELOW series! As usual, this blog will include six Asian artists who ave below 100K monthly listeners on Spotify. Each artist mentioned fall under different genres and we hope that you enjoy the recommendations!

Adrian Kim, known by his artist name Gabby Onme is a South Korean singer born in Seoul and raised in Texas, USA. He debuted as a soloist on March 7th, 2020 with the single “Swear to God”. On May 31st, 2020, he released his debut EP Monalisa with producer KINDA. This marked the debut of Gabby Onme as a duo consisting of Adrian Kim and KINDA. Both of the members have the same musical and creative vision which makes it really easy for them to work together in this duo. Following the release of their debut EP, they released a few more singles in 2020 and ended the year off with the release of “Ithinkiwannaridewithyou” which is their most popular song with 183.6K streams on Spotify.
In 2021, Gabby Onme released a two single EP I’m Drowning Right Now… which included the songs “5 Minutes” and “Cappuccino”. There was no music in 2022, but Gabby Onme returned in January 2023 with the double single EP I Need CPR Right Now… which includes “Like This” and “After All this Time”. Followed by that release, Gabby Onme released “OMM” and “We Used To” on March 11th, “Lois Lane” on April 22nd and “Falling” on June 2nd.
They started 2024 off with the release of their second EP We’ll Be Okay on April 30th, 2024. They then released “Diamonds” and “Only One for Me” in May followed by “Psycho in Us” and “HEAVEN” in June. “Psycho in Us” is our favourite song from Gabby Onme’s discography, followed by “Ithinkiwannaridewithyou”. Their latest release is the EP 444 which came out on August 4th.
We discovered Gabby Onme through Instagram ads earlier this year and we cannot wait to see their growth.

hwani is a singer and songwriter originally from Seoul, South Korea and now based in the DMV Area (Washington). He debuted on May 10th, 2024 with the single “IKYK”. Since his debut, he has released one other song “omw” with prizzy on August 4th.
hwani is an artist we discovered through TikTok recently and we cannot wait to hear what other songs he comes out with in the future.

Annisya is an R&B singer and songwriter from Jakarta, Indonesia. She made her debut on September 20th, 2019 with the single “Wzted”. Following her debut, she released “VIP” in December 2020. On July 2nd, 2021, she released the single “Behind The Scenes” followed by “LIGHTS OUT” with Fathan Maulana on December 3rd.
On March 20th, 2022, she collaborated with Thomas Ng for the single “Stay” which is one of her most popular songs with 103K streams on Spotify. In 2022, she also released “Vulnerable” in June and “No Better” with Fathan Maulana and Jo Soegono in October. She started 2023 off with the release of “Noxious” on January 20th. This was in collaboration with Ezra Kunze.
In 2024, she released “Hush” on May 31st, which was her first single of the year. Her latest release “Pick Up” is from July 5th. Both of these singles are pre-release tracks for her debut EP FEMME FATALE which comes out on August 15th.

DEN is a singer-songwriter based in china. He started making music seven years ago and made his debut on August 11th, 2021 with his debut album *OPDEN.* This album is 11 songs and includes his most popular song “BAD SOUL” with over 370K streams on Spotify.
He didn’t release any music in 2022 and came back on June 6th, 2023 with the single “Illusion”. Following “Illusion”, he released “我是一棵树(Standing)” in September and “2000km” in November. Both of these singles were pre-release tracks for his EP Pink Friend which came out on December 28th. So far for 2024, DEN has released one single “Sunsad” on May 25th, 2024.

Lukey is a singer, songwriter and producer from Philadelphia. He made his debut on December 9th, 2016 with the single “FINER THINGS”. On November 3rd, 2017, Lukey released the single “JUSTLIKETHIS” which has gained over 1.3 million streams since release.
In 2019 is when Lukey started releasing music consistently, starting with “CONTOUR” on January 1st, 2019. This was a collaboration song with Joshua Bation and gained over 260K streams on Spotify. Additionally, this song was a pre-release track for Lukey’s debut album SPIRIT which came out on June 28th, 2019. This album also includes his hit song “PEACHSUN” which has over 1.8 million streams on Spotify.
On May 15th, 2020, Lukey released the single “HONEYDREAM” which is his most popular song with over 2.7 million streams on Spotify. This is also the first song we ever heard of his earlier this year. He also released an EP titled períwinkle in October 2020. In 2021, Lukey released only two singles in October; “OCEANA” with Julianna Mar and “TOPDOWN” with BABYBOYBLUE and Rish, followed by one single in May 2022 titled “Gud Luh” with Isa.
He started 2023 off with a collaboration with andreas owens for the single “not much (better than before)”. In April 2023, he released the single “IRENA” and in May 2023, he collaborated with juhye for the single “remember”. “IRENA” was a pre-release track for his second EP MOONLIGHT which came out on July 19th. Furthermore, it also was featured on his sophomore album *PROLOGUE* which came out on December 8th. This album also includes “MANGO NECTAR” with ANGELCONCEPCION which is a song we love.
In 2024, Lukey released his first single of the year “CRUSH” on May 14th, followed by “WEIGHTLESS” with Echo Huang on July 17th. His latest single “ENDLESSLY” came out recently on July 31st, and features F.N. and Emi Choi. All three of these songs are going to be included on his third album SPACEBOY which comes out on August 30th, so make sure to pre-save.
Lukey’s discography is so big and diverse and we cannot wait to see his discography continue to grow.

DIVNE is a Pop/R&B Filipina singer-songwriter from Scarborough, Ontario. She made her debut on June 17th, 2022 with the single “Mind in the Sky”. Followed by her debut, she released “september” on September 16th. This is her most popular song with over 256K streams on Spotify.
She started 2023 off with the release of euphony in February which included the singles “please” and “hello sunshine”. She also released “Half-time” in June 2023. In 2024, she released her first single of the year “Daisy” on April 5th. Her latest single “Moonlight” is from July 12th, 2024.
We started following DIVNE’s musical journey this year and cannot wait to see her growth.
